![]() Simply find and right click the the MGI setup file, check the run in compatibility mode as Windows XP SP2 and install. ![]() You do not need Virtual PC, Virtual XP or any add-ons. I have been trying to get MGI Photosuite III SE to install on Vista for months without success and then when I thought I’d finally sorted it I could not launch the program due to a script error. I might have if I wasn’t finding posts like the one I’m going to quote below whereįirst you need to get hold of an MGI disc or a download. Marty, You’re correct I don’t give up easily. If it didn’t then the rollback to IE9 could still be done. If that works it might be the easiest fix. Windows 7 with SP1 is within IE11 system requirements. Toward the end it was posted that installing IE11 worked. ![]() This is a long thread with several solutions. It was “supposed” to fix the compatibility woth some MGI problems. There is a MS compatibility update you might check to see if it is installed. ![]() You might be using another browser most of the time anyway. One solution would be to rollback to IE9 & use another browser for the internet. There is an incompatibility with IE10 that prevents this so MGI doesn’t work. What is happening is MGI connects at some level with the internet when it’s opened. IE9 seem to work from what I found posted on the internet. Going with what roadworker found & posted about IE10. ![]()
